The unprecedented demand for testing the ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 has led to an shortage and limited availability of test reagents which pooling samples been recommended in areas with low prevalence. Considering possibility dilution factor pool testing, attempt was made find out any true positive pools late amplification. study conducted on received from various collection centers different districts Odisha as well patients attending screening clinic or admitted COVID ward hospital. Nasal/nasopharyngeal/throat swabs viral transport media cold chain were subjected Real-time polymerase reaction (RT-PCR) a Biosafety Laboratory level-2 including uniform volume four units (samples) per pool. All confirmed probable assay de-convoluted individual tested confirmatory assay.
